TUSKEGEE, AL (WSFA) -

Tuskegee University says a group of students are staying at a hotel on campus due to a housing shortage.

According to statement from the university, about 26 students are staying at the Kellogg Hotel and Conference Center at the university.

The students don't have immediate housing arrangements because of late housing applications and fewer residents halls being available this semester, according to the statement.

University officials say they will exhaust all avenues to make sure all the students who applied for housing will be accommodated.
