Bicyclist struck and killed by car in Montgomery

MONTGOMERY, AL (WSFA) -

A bicyclist is dead following a crash Wednesday morning, according to the Montgomery Police Department.

The victim was struck by a vehicle on Narrow Lane Road between Seibels Road and Herbert Road.

Police say the biker, identified as 22-year-old Cornelius Miller, was struck around 5:55 a.m. by a 2014 Chrysler 200. Miller was pronounced dead on the scene.

The preliminary investigation shows the Chrysler was traveling northbound on Narrow Lane Road when it struck Miller, who was traveling south in the northbound lanes.

The driver of the Chrysler was uninjured.

Accident investigators are still working to determine the cause of the crash.
