4 arrested in Coffee County drug raid

COFFEE CO., AL (WSFA) -

The Coffee County Sheriff's Department arrested four individuals in a drug raid on Monday.

Deputies executed a search warrant in the 10,000 block of Highway 51 in New Brockton. Deputies entered through a barricaded back door at the residence.

Once inside, investigators discovered items that were used to manufacture methamphetamine.

Deputies arrested George Robert Whitley, 35, Terry Ladon Whitley, 38, Terry Hugh Whitley, 57, and Donnie Ray Benefield, 33.

George Whitley is being charged with first degree manufacturing a controlled substance and probation violation.

Terry Ladon Whitley is being charged with possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. He also had an active felony warrant for probation violation out of Pike County.

Terry Hugh Whitley is being charged with obstruction of governmental operations.

Donnie Ray Benefield was arrested for failing to appear/traffic out of Coffee County.
