Huntsville teen shot at apartment complex, police say

HUNTSVILLE, AL (WAFF) - Huntsville Police responded to a call of shots fired in the Autumn Wood Apartments Thursday at approximately 1:00 a.m.

Minutes after the shots were heard, a resident in the complex called police stated someone knocked on their door saying he had been shot. 

Police found the victim, a 15 year old boy, with a non- life threatening gunshot wound to the upper leg.

He told police that someone came up and shot him, but was unable to give a description of the shooter.  

HEMSI took him to the Huntsville Hospital while police searched the area for a potential scene, but none was found.
