Meth investigation nets 4 arrests in New Brockton

NEW BROCKTON, AL (WSFA) -

Four people are charged after deputies discovered items to manufacture methamphetamine inside a home in New Brockton.

According to Coffee County Sheriff's Office, deputies obtained a search warrant for the 10000 block of Highway 51. After proceeding to enter the residence through a barricaded back door, investigators say they discovered items to manufacture methamphetamine. 

Deputies arrested 35-year-old Geroge Robert Whitley, charging him with manufacture of a controlled substance first degree and 38-year-old Terry Ladon Whitley charging him with possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Also deputies arrested Terry Hugh Whitley charging him with obstruction of governmental operations and 33-year-old Donnie Ray Benefield charging him with failing to appear.
