BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) -

A North Baton Rouge house was intentionally set on fire, according to Baton Rouge firefighters.

The home located on Mission Street was empty, but when fire crews arrived on scene, there were flames coming through the roof of the structure. Other ares of the house was also on fire.

On July 19th, this same house is where 21-year-old Travis Polk had been shot several times, while sitting in a lawn chair under its carport. Polk later died from his injuries. There is no word on whether these cases are related.
