MONTGOMERY, AL (WSFA) -

A Montgomery man's search for a house will be featured on an upcoming episode of the popular HGTV show "House Hunters."

Local business owner David Sadler is searching for a home. Sadler is behind the new lunch shuttle in downtown Montgomery.

Crews are filming the episode at three houses in the Capital City this week.

On Monday, crews and producers walked through one of the homes to check out the layout and plan maneuvers to film inside the home.

'House Hunters' Field Producer Keith Cornell says his goal for the show is for viewers to identify with the house hunters and feel they are part of the experience of buying a home.

Cornell says part of the audience participation is the "guessing game."

"I look at 'House Hunters' as almost like a murder mystery but instead of suspects you have houses," Cornell said. "What we're trying to do is keep in balance, as best as we can, the mystery of which house appeals to the house hunters the most."

The producers of the show don't have an exact air date for the Montgomery episode but said it will be in the coming months.
