E-recording in Gove County, Kan., is now available through Simplifile, enabling the county and its customers to record land documents via the Internet for faster, more efficient recording.
Gove County, Kan. (PRWEB) August 26, 2014
Kansas has added its 31st electronic recording (e-recording) jurisdiction, Gove County, enabling customers to submit documents for recording online through Simplifile, the nations largest e-recording service provider.
Through Simplifiles web-based service, customers such as title companies, banks, attorneys, and lien filers will be able to submit documents for recording via the Internet, where they are reviewed, stamped, and recorded by the county and returned back to the customer in minutes.
E-recording is a win-win for the county and its document submitters, said Paul Clifford, president of Simplifile. Not only does it save money on mailing costs and cut out the wait time for documents to be sent and returned by mail, but it also helps organizations move toward a more paperless, eco-friendly work environment.
Increased document security and fewer check-writing expenses are also some of the benefits of e-recording, as recording fees and payments can be processed securely through Simplifile via electronic funds transfer.
With the addition of e-recording in Gove County, there are now 31 e-recording counties in the state of Kansas.
Nationwide, more than 1,125 recording jurisdictions have also implemented Simplifiles e-recording service.
High-speed Internet access, a PC, and a scanner are the minimum requirements for customers to begin e-recording with Simplifile.
