While you were sleeping, the Internet never stopped. And it's amazing what the Internet comes up with.

Check out what people are tweeting, sharing and talking about.

Time Warner Cable experiences nationwide outage

Time Warner Cable was experiencing major outages Wednesday morning across the country.

Customers were reporting disruptions in service for the cable Internet. In addition, the Time Warner Cable website was down and users reported phone calls to the company were going unanswered.

The TWC Help Twitter account posted around 7 a.m.: "We're working to restore services to all areas as quickly as possible; no ETR. Tweets will be delayed while this is addressed."

An outage map showed areas affected from coast to coast.

By 7:30 a.m., customers were beginning to report Internet connections being restored.

Flight diverted after 'Knee Defender' sparks altercation

United Flight 1462 traveling from Newark to Denver was diverted to Chicago after two passengers got into an altercation over a reclining chair.

A man used a gadget called the "Knee Defender" to prevent the seat in front of him from reclining while he used his laptop. The $21.95 device is a small pair of plastic clips that "helps you stop reclining airplane seatbacks so your knees won't have to," the website states.

A flight attendant asked the man to remove the lock and he refused, CNN reports. The woman seated in front of the man stood up and threw a cup of water at him.

United decided to land in Chicago due to the escalating fight.

The two passengers were seated in Economy Plus section of the plane, which has an extra four inches of legroom (ironically).

According to CNN, the Knee Defender was created in 2003 by 6'3-tall American Ira Goldman. The website states the gadget helps you "stop reclining seats on airplanes so your knees won't have to."

While some airline companies prohibit its use, the gadget has not been banned by the FAA.
