LEBANON, OH (FOX19) -

Authorities say they have apprehended a Warren County inmate who failed to return from a scheduled furlough to the dentist.

Melissa Rae Helton, an inmate of the Warren County Jail being held for two counts of felony drug possession, was granted furlough from 7:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday.

According to the Warren County Sheriff's Office, Helton never showed up to her appointment and never reported back to the Lebanon facility.

Officials say a Hamilton County deputy located Helton on Wednesday around 6 p.m.

The Warren County Jail is located on Justice Drive.

Helton received an additional felony charge of escape, authorities said.
