Suns release broadcast schedule

PHOENIX – The Phoenix Suns announced their 2014-15 broadcast schedule today, which will allow fans to see 76 regular season games on the team's exclusive local television station, FOX Sports Arizona, or on FOX Sports Arizona Plus. The Suns will also play six games that will be broadcast on TNT. A full television broadcast schedule is attached.

FOX Sports Arizona's game coverage will begin with the Suns' 2014 home opener against the Los Angeles Lakers on Wednesday, October 29 at US Airways Center. FOX Sports Arizona will feature all four games against the reigning NBA Champion, San Antonio Spurs, as well as both matchups with Lebron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers.

FOX Sports Arizona broadcasts will be called by play-by-play announcer Steve Albert, who will work alongside color analyst Eddie Johnson. Ann Meyers Drysdale will fill in for Johnson to provide analysis for a select number of games. Tom Chambers and Tom Leander will handle pregame, halftime and postgame show duties, with former Suns guard Casey Jacobsen adding commentary for select games.

For the 47th straight season, Suns fans can also tune in to the team's flagship radio station, Arizona Sports 98.7 FM, with the “Voice of the Suns” Al McCoy calling play-by-play action and Tim Kempton providing analysis. The duo will call all preseason, regular season, and any 2015 playoff games. KSUN 1400 AM will return as the Spanish Radio Broadcast partner of the Phoenix Suns and will broadcast every Suns regular season game in Spanish.

Note: The Suns three FOX Sports Arizona Plus broadcasts are scheduled for November 7, December 6 and February 23. In addition, the team's road game in San Antonio on April 12 (4 p.m. tip-off) will likely begin on the Plus channel, but will move to FOX Sports Arizona at the conclusion of that afternoon's Dbacks game.
