BIRMINGHAM, AL (WBRC) -

A Birmingham man has been arrested for alleged bigamy, according to police.

Warren Williams, 61, posted bond on Friday morning after his arrest.

According to the arrest affidavit in the case, Williams married in January 2014.

However, police say he was already married to another woman. Police said Williams told his second wife that his first wife had died from ovarian cancer.

The two wives found out about each other and tipped off Birmingham police detectives.
