Teen shot & abducted

Good Monday morning and happy Labor Day from MSNewsNow's Brandon Artiles!

We're starting the holiday at 75 degrees and this is the type of day you want to have your First Alert weather app handy. There's a slight chance for a shower or storm in the afternoon and Julia Weiden will fill us in with more in her First Alert Forecast.

Happening now, an Amber Alert continues as law enforcement looks for answers in the abduction of 17-year-old Katelyn Beard in Jackson. We'll bring you the latest on what authorities are saying about her kidnapping and the suspect, coming up in the AM Report.

Plus, it's not going to be much of a holiday for President Obama as pressure mounts on the Oval Office from lawmakers to take decisive action against ISIS.

Those stories and much more are heading your way.

Please join Joy Redmond and me from 5 to 7 and have a great Labor Day!
