DALEVILLE, AL (WSFA) -

On Sept. 12, a little girl from Daleville will make her acting debut.

She will be staring alongside some of Hollywood's biggest stars like Idris Elba and Taraji Henson.

"Well, when I got the part I jumped up and down. I was really blessed when I got it," said Mirage Moonschein.

When Mirage was in the first grade, she learned that after several auditions she had been chosen out of 70 girls to play the daughter of Taraji P. Hensons in the movie "No Good Deed."

While many in Daleville are excited to have a star among them, others are not surprised by this accomplishment.

"She has been doing pageants ever since she was two, and she is eight now, still doing beauty pageants," said Denise Moonschein, Mirages' Mother. "Confidence, her confidence, is very very well and she works the stage very well and we just pursue her to other things."

"Well of course it is exciting and it is a bit overwhelming to think we have a star in our presence," said Kelly Brandin, Mirages' first grade teacher. "I am just hoping one day when I am eighty and in a wheel chair and she is receiving an Oscar, she will remember her first grade teacher."

September 12, the movie "No Good Deed" premieres across the country.

Moonscheins' family says they will roll out the red carpet in her honor and join friends to watch the movie at a local theater.
