Editorial: "Viewer Feedback: Time for a Change"

MONTGOMERY, AL (WSFA) -

Our editorial earlier this week focusing on the misdeeds of the pastor at Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church led to the following feedback on wsfa.com and our WSFA 12 News station Facebook page…here is just a sampling:

Kimberlee provided the following, “He is not a preacher.....No preacher would do what he has done…he is a wolf and has deceived his congregation...and what I don't understand is that him admitting he has aids why he has not be arrested for attempted murder.”

Brette responded with, “This is something that the church must take care of. Even if legal means are necessary. The media should not be involved. Let the Elders of the Church take care of this.”

Lynette submitted, “The board needs to get together and oust him, every member needs to stop paying their tithes and offerings, and they need to manifestly come together and all walk out while he is preaching, leaving him standing there by himself.”

Lastly, Robert adds, “I think it is up to this churches congregation, not the Vice President and General Manager of WSFA, to decide if it is "time for a change".

As always, we encourage and appreciate your feedback.
