Editorial: "Unwelcomed Repeat Performance"

MONTGOMERY, AL (WSFA) -

With everything the good folks in Prattville have to do each day (walking the dog, getting their children off to school, mowing the lawn, changing the oil in the car), the Ku Klux Klan would like them to add one more item to their to-do list – join their group.

Over the weekend recruitment fliers were distributed throughout Prattville originating from a Missouri based KKK organization. You may recall that the KKK was in Tallassee as recently as July doing the same thing – recruiting.

If we want to build a nation of people who support inclusiveness, kindness and fairness to all then together and united we must stamp out groups like this that do nothing but drive wedges between these same people.

So we'd like to again send a message to these white hooded, cross burning, hate mongering Missouri based KKK folks – save your paper, ink and the gas. If any of us in Alabama, for any reason, are so inclined to join your group we'll be in contact.
