MONTGOMERY, AL (WSFA) -

Our editorial earlier this week addressing the rioting and destruction of business and property in Ferguson, Missouri led to the following feedback on WSFA.COM and our WSFA 12 News station Facebook page. Here is just a sampling:

Kristen responded with, “These looters and rioters have done far more harm than good. They've hurt their local economy and wronged business owners who had no part in this decision. Many of these businesses may not be capable of recovering and returning to serve their community. Congratulations on laying waste to your town in the name of justice.”

Neil submitted, “This matter could have been controlled by the force of Law and taken forceful actions against all who incited this damage while not suppressing the so called right to free speech and expression force is not unrighteousness when it is a lawful need to stop the destruction brought on by these rebels and heathens.”

Bonnie shares the following, “Why can't the news media in this country stop showing every little continuation which encourages this whole mess and keeps fanning the flames of protests?”

Lastly, Bobby adds, “The change has to come from the ones whom choose to live life like a thug punk...white or black...tired of hearing about race...It's not a race thing is a character thing.”

As always, we encourage and appreciate your feedback.
