MONTGOMERY, AL (WSFA) - Leadership Montgomery is a program designed to improve the quality of our community. Each year Leadership Montgomery assembles a contingency of diverse leaders and young professionals who spend ten months studying the most critical issues facing our community.

Now 31-years- old, Leadership Montgomery boasts a following of over 1,300 seasoned alumni and young professionals. According to a recent survey answered by 20 percent of the alumni, Leadership Montgomery members currently serve on 128 different community boards and councils; they contribute over 40,000 hours of community service annually; and they have implemented over 100 community projects in the last 7 years.

Yet Leadership Montgomery's existence is now threatened due to unexpected decrease in the city and the Chamber's revenue.

If you would like to support Leadership Montgomery in its effort to serve the non-profit community, please log onto www.leadershipmontgomery.org/donate today.

Maintaining a healthy non-profit community is critical to maintaining a strong, vibrant community.
