Are you ready for some football? I sure hope so as Montgomery, Alabama, has something to serve up to all “starved” football fans this weekend right here in our own backyard.

The first ever Raycom Camellia Bowl will kick-off at 8:15pm this Saturday at the Cramton Bowl and on ESPN worldwide. What an exciting opportunity we have to showcase our city for those enjoying the game in person and the millions that will be watching from afar.

This game places Montgomery, Alabama, on a world stage; very cool indeed.

Because of my parent company's involvement, Raycom Media, I have had an opportunity to watch this game come together from the onset and it has been first class all the way.

So in advance of the game I'd like to acknowledge and send my congratulations to all that had the vision and put in the hard work that has resulted in our town hosting an event such as this. It's going to be a great night and I hope to see you there on this historic night.
