MONTGOMERY, AL (WSFA) - Hello I am Eric Duncan and I am very fortunate to be the new Vice President and General Manager of WSFA News 12 and WSFA.com

My wife Ginny and I are coming here having spent most of our lives in Texas. Please try not to hold that against us. We are excited to be here and to be able to call Montgomery and the River Region home.

WSFA has had a long history of providing commentary and editorials to help cover issues that are important to our area. In the spirit of continuing that tradition, I look forward to getting out into the community, meeting with you and talking about those things that engage dialogue.

In the coming weeks, months, and years I look forward to meeting you in person. This station is here as a service to you and we take that role in the community very seriously.

Montgomery is in the middle of a major transition. The city is moving forward and in a positive manner. We look forward to being here to witness and hopefully be a small part in that positive transition, and I know that we will meet many great people along the way.

Thank you for your time, and thank you for watching WSFA 12 News
