MONTGOMERY, AL (WSFA) -

The Montgomery Municipal Court is holding another round of amnesty days for people who have outstanding arrest warrants. There are two eligibility requirements that have to be met in order to participate.

Those seeking to take part must have an outstanding warrant for either failing to appear in court for a scheduled compliance hearing or for failing to appear in court on an initial appearance for a traffic offense.

Those who take part in amnesty day will get a new compliance date with notice or will have any active warrant related to non-payments removed. No one will be relieved of payment of fines, court costs and/or restitution, but the court says there will be no arrests for non-payment or for an outstanding warrant in a case in which the only issue is non-payment.

The amnesty event is being broken down across a 10 day period between March 9 and 20 with each day's participants taking part based on the first letter of their last name. Each person will have an option of picking between two days to appear.

On March 9 those with a last name beginning with A, B, C or D should appear.

On March 10 those with a last name beginning with E, F, G, H or I should appear.

On March 11 those with a last name beginning with J, K, L, M, N or O should appear.

On March 12 those with a last name beginning with P, Q, R, S, or T should appear.

On March 13 those with a last name beginning with U, V, W, X, Y or Z should appear.

On March 16 those with a last name beginning with P, Q, R, S or T should appear.

On March 17 those with a last name beginning with U, V, W, X, Y or Z should appear.

On March 18 those with a last name beginning with A, B, C, or D should appear.

On March 19 those with a last name beginning with E, F, G, H or I should appear.

On March 20 those with a last name beginning with J, K, L, M, N or O should appear.
