MPD investigates fatal early morning crash involving motorcycle

MONTGOMERY, AL (WSFA) - Montgomery Police are investigating after a two-vehicle crash involving a motorcycle ended fatally. 

According to Sergeant Denise Barnes with the Montgomery Police Department, officers responded to a call of a crash around 12:45 a.m in the Troy Highway, Virginia Loop Road area. The crash was involving a 2005 Lincoln Town Car and a 1997 Suzuki RF900 motorcycle. The driver of the Suzuki, 32-year-old Micha Chappell, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The cause of the crash is unknown at this time. The driver of the Lincoln Town Car did not receive any injuries.
