Auburn University hosted a unique motivational speaker Friday afternoon -- a Canadian farmer who has managed to make a successful living despite being born without limbs.

Chris Koch spoke about how he has managed to travel the world and be a successful farmer, overcoming what many would see as a limitation.

Koch's message is just three words -- if I can.

He says if he can accomplish so much without limbs, then anyone else should be able to do anything.

"At first glance, I think a lot of people go direct to the assumption that 'This guy's got no arms or legs, life must be pretty tough. an uphill battle.' And after speaking with me for a couple seconds, it becomes apparent that no, it's been a great life. It hasn't been triumph over tragedy, it's been a fun ride with a lot of laughs and a lot of smiles and amazing experiences," Koch said

Koch will also be appearing tomorrow at Storybook Farm's children's horse show in Opelika. That event is from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
