DOTHAN, Ala. (AP) - Officials say a Dothan city worker died on the job after telling colleagues he felt ill.
The Dothan Eagle reports (http://bit.ly/1DHk62m ) it's still unclear why 29-year-old Matt Fair, a city utility worker, died Thursday. Houston County Coroner Robert Byrd said Fair was found unresponsive by co-workers at the city public services complex Thursday morning not long after he complained that he didn't feel well.
Dothan City Manager Mike West said he spent time with members of Fair's family after learning of his death. West said the young apprentice lineman "was just starting off what we hoped was a promising career."
The coroner said an autopsy will be performed to determine the cause of death.
