1 head finely chopped cabbage (can substitute 2 pkgs. prepared cole slaw)
1 medium bell pepper, finely chopped
1 1/2 cup white vinegar
2 cups sugar
Dash each of salt and pepper
12 oz. bacon, fried with drippings
Combine all ingredients expect bacon. Mix well. Crumble bacon over slaw and mix. Refrigerate for 4-5 hours before serving.
