The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency is investigating after a single-vehicle crash Wednesday claimed the life of a Wetumpka man.
According to Corporal Jess Thornton, the crash occurred at 7:50 p.m. on Elmore County 667, three miles north of Wetumpka. 30-year-old Deshawn Glover was killed when the 2003 GMC Envoy he was driving left the road, struck an embankment and overturned. Glover was pronounced dead at the scene.
Investigators say a passenger was transported to a local hospital for injuries. Glover was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash.
No other information, including the name of the passenger, has been released at this time.
