TRINITY, AL (WAFF) -

A box truck carrying mail to the post office wrecked on Mountain Home Road in Trinity on Tuesday morning.

Police on the scene said the driver was trapped inside before being airlifted to an area hospital. He was, however, conscious and breathing.

Mountain Home Road was closed for almost five hours due to the wreck.
