Alabama native Bo Bice, lead singer with Blood Sweat & Tears, will perform in concert with the band at the Montgomery Performing Arts Center on October 22. Bice became famous as the runner up to winner Carrie Underwood in the fourth season of American Idol in 2005.
According to his website, Bice's career began to take shape when he worked the Southern club circuit in a number of bands, including Blue Suede Nickel, Purge and Sugar Money. His first release following American Idol, The Real Thing, yielded the chart-topping single Inside Your Heaven and helped Bice attain the first of his two gold record awards.
Bice will be returning to Alabama singing Spinning Wheel, God Bless The Child, You've Made Me So Very Happy and other classic hits of the 1970s jazz-rock band, BS&T.
The concert begins at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, October 22, and tickets can be purchased from MPAC Online.
