Celeste Betton says all the things that have happened in her life, including having a daughter at a young age, led to her success on "The Voice" so far.

Betton landed on Team Pharrell after belting out her rendition of "Love You I Do" by Jennifer Hudson. During her introduction interview on the show, Betton says she graduated from Troy University with a bachelor's degree in English. She now lives in Washington, DC with her husband, Kevin,  and their two children.

The 27-year-old says she started singing in the church choir at the age of 6 and still has a passion for gospel music.

Now that she's made it through the blind auditions, Betton will be mentored by Williams and compete in the Battle round.
