Lee County Teacher is a Class Act

This week's "Class Act" is Mrs. Marilyn Brown from Beauregard High School in Lee County. She's been at the school for 28 years.

Her nominators say Mrs. Brown works effortlessly to improve the school and is always a positive role model for the students. She also encouraged the student council to support community agencies, this year they raised over $2,000 for charity.

School officials say it takes a winner to create winners, and Mrs. Brown is a winner.

Congratulations Mrs. Marilyn Brown from Beauregard High School in Opelika, you're this week's "Class Act."
