Headless woman's body found in Panhandle, husband charged

PANAMA CITY BEACH, Fla. (AP)_Florida authorities say the estranged husband of a possibly pregnant teenager was charged with murder after her headless body was found in a marsh near Panama City.

Bay County Sheriff Frank McKeithen says 19-year-old Blake Collier was jailed Saturday for allegedly violating his probation on a burglary charge.

Deputies were probing the disappearance of his 18-year-old wife Lennia Hing who was reported missing by her parents two days earlier.

Officials say Collier confessed to strangling his wife, decapitating her and removing specific internal body parts. Authorities today are searching for the head and other missing organs.

An autopsy is being conducted to determine the exact cause of death.

The sheriff adds that the wife may have been pregnant.
