Saving Money - Your Clothes

There are many ways to save money on your wardrobe. Consider the following:

  • First of all, study your wardrobe carefully. Work out your clothing budget, and stick to it. If you "buy on impulse" it can really be expensive.
  • Buy the best clothes you can afford. Sometimes, the name brand isn't the best quality. But, if you buy clothes that'll last you a few years, it's called "investment dressing."
  • Buy wash and wear clothes whenever possible. You'll save a bundle on dry-cleaning and special care expenses.
  • And, look for bargains! Don't be afraid of consignment shops, thrift stores or outlets. You can often find really nice clothes, at great prices!
  • When you're buying, get color coordinated items. That way you can mix & match clothing sets.
