MONTGOMERY, AL (WSFA) -

Former Georgia head football coach Jim Donnan was the guest speaker at Tuesday's Montgomery Quarterback Club meeting.

Donnan gave his thoughts on the college football landscape, the SEC and other topics.

He told WSFA a few of the things that have caught his attention this season.

"I think just the fact that Alabama and Ohio State lost so many good players to the pros and haven't missed a beat. Alabama lost those seven guys in the first 73, and ten guys in the first three rounds for Ohio state. Just goes to show you want kind of recruiting they've done. I think the biggest surprise to me is Washington. Coach Peterson out there in his third year has already got the program back competing for the PAC-12," said Donnan.
