The holiday season is upon us and that means it's time to unveil this year's official city ornament, which was created by a Montgomery native.
Barbara Binford Davis, along with Easter Seals Alabama CEO Lynne Stokley, presented the official 2016 Montgomery City Christmas ornament to Mayor Todd Strange on Wednesday.
This year's ornament depicts a Montgomery staple, the Cramton Bowl, and is titled "A Capital City Christmas."
The ornament is $15 and can be found at the locations listed below:
- Adams Drugs
- Capitol's Rosemont Gardens
- Carol Brooks Antiques
- Easter Seals Central Alabama
- Montgomery Area Visitor's Center
- Sac's Gallery
- The Velvet Pumpkin
Davis is a native of Montgomery, attended Sidney Lanier High School and holds a BA degree from Auburn University at Montgomery. Davis has been a painter since the age of 14.
