Hyundai Motor Manufacturing AL donates $366,000 to United Ways of AL

MONTGOMERY, AL (WSFA) -

Hyundai Motor Manufacturing Alabama and its team members have pledged to donate over $300,000 to the United Ways of Alabama.

Officials with HMMA, more than 3,000 team members have chosen to pledge more than $301,000 to support United Way agencies throughout the River Region. HMMA has also contributed an additional $65,000, bringing the toal contribution to $366,000.

United Way works to improve lives by mobilizing the caring power of communities around the world to advance the common good.

This is the 13th year HMMA team members have pledged money to the United Way, according to officials. To date, they have raised $2.6 million.

A formal check presentation took place at 10 a.m. on Wednesday in the HMMA lobby.
