Warm air has increased the amount of instability over south and east Alabama. And, the wind shear is hanging around slightly longer than anticipated. Coupled together, this means the tornado threat has increased *slightly*, enough to warrant a new Tornado Watch.
We have noticed rotation within the squall line AND in some of the storms ahead of this line. The watch runs until 5pm and includes the counties outlined in red:
So, it includes the part of Alabama EAST of a line from Alex City to Montgomery to Evergreen.
