MONTGOMERY, AL (WSFA) -

A two-vehicle accident that occurred at the intersection of U.S. Highway 231 and Taylor Road on Thursday has turned fatal, according to the Montgomery Police Department.

The crash, which occurred around 4 p.m., involved a 1988 Buick Regal and a 2008 Chevrolet Equinox. The driver of the Regal, identified as 92-year-old Dan Hataway, was transported to Baptist Medical Center South where he was later pronounced dead.
