MONTGOMERY, AL (WSFA) -

A little Montgomery boy fighting cancer has been given the trip of a lifetime thanks to the Make-A-Wish. Crosson Smith has been battling acute lymphoblastic leukemia. He's been going through treatments for the last 18 months and only recently was able to go back to school and play baseball.

Tuesday night he learned he and his family are going to Disney World!

"Before we knew I had cancer, I was feeling tired after school, and I could barely walk without getting tired," Smith explained. "Now...I feel awesome!"

Brittni Smith, Crosson's mom, said "We haven't really been able to go anywhere, not anywhere for extensive times. So being able to just go and have fun and no worries, it will really be a relief for all of us that we really need."

"Being able to watch him enjoy himself and just have a good time and be carefree, that's the most exciting part for me," added Crosson's dad, Cory.

The Smith family will leave Saturday and spend the next four days at the happiest place on Earth.
