TROY, AL (WSFA) -

For many of the Troy players, Friday's NCAA tournament game against Duke will be their first experience playing this deep in March.

However, for Senior Devon Walker, he's a March Madness regular.

"My first year, we went to the Elite Eight," said Walker. "The second year we went to the Final Four and lost to UConn."

Walker has played far into the NCAA tournament twice in his career with the Florida Gators before transferring to Troy this season and says the tournament is a whole new ballgame.

"It's so intense," said Walker. "It's win or go home and everybody's playing for a championship and when I say everybody, I mean everybody. You're getting the best shot from everybody."

Walker's been through a lot during his playing time and is looking for one last shot during his senior season.

"It's been a very long journey for me to come here from Florida," said Walker. "I've been through a lot with my knee and losing and expectations and all that type of stuff. So, it hit me all at that moment."

But he's had some sound advice for his teammates during this process.

"I don't think anyone here has experienced anything quite like that yet," said Walker. "When you get there it's all about enjoying the moment and attacking it. Don't let the moment become bigger than the game."
