AUBURN, AL (WTVM) – Taco lovers in Auburn will now have another restaurant to try out as Taco Mama is now opened.

Taco Mama, a fast-casual taqueria, is now opened at 149 E Magnolia Ave.

The restaurant is known for its tacos, burrito bowls, plus its hand-shaken margaritas made with real juices in a fun, funky atmosphere.

The Auburn location offers the same clever, made-fresh-daily menu featuring premium slow-roasted meats and fresh produce.

"We're really really excited because on the atmosphere. It's a fun place to be. Fresh food made from scratch which is awesome. From scratch kitchens to me are the greatest thing, what's what got me involved in it because everything's fresh," said Lee White, GM of Taco Mama in Auburn.

Taco Mama welcomes its guests to a casual, hip atmosphere featuring hand-selected music, garage doors that open to the patio and unique menu options that come “Our Way”, or you can “Build Your Own”.

Taco Mama also offers catering services with delivery, featuring options such as a taco/nacho bar, burrito boxes, and quesadilla trays.

Taco Mama in Auburn will create more than 25 jobs and will be open seven days a week, Monday through Sunday.

The Taco Mama franchise was established in 2011 in Mountain Brook, AL.
