Suspected serial AL bank robber captured in Florida

PENSACOLA, FL (WSFA) -

A suspect in multiple bank and convenience store robberies has been captured, according to Central Alabama CrimeStoppers.

CrimeStoppers reports that Kelvin Golden, 31, was captured on Wednesday without incident in Pensacola, Florida by the U.S. Marshal's Fugitive Task Force. 

Golden has been charged with three counts of bank robbery first degree and 2 counts of robbery first degree.

WSFA 12 News reported on Golden's connection to a string of holdups at different businesses in several cities on April 8. The last robbery he was connected to was in Brewton on Thursday, during which the victim was shot.
