GRAND BAY, AL (WALA) -

Mobile County Sheriff's Office deputies have charged two men accused of tying up an elderly woman during a home invasion.  They are still looking for two other suspects.  The crime happened two weeks ago on April 7, but the sheriff's office didn't release the information until now.

We're told it happened on Broughton Road, which is off Dawes Road near the Mississippi state line.

One of the suspects in the crime, Kevin Lewis Mosley, turned himself into authorities late Thursday night, just a few hours after MCSO released his picture to news media. Investigators say he was just arrested over the weekend for shooting someone, but it wasn't until after he bonded out that he was identified as a suspect in the home invasion.

As for the home invasion, it happened on Friday, April 7 at 11:30 a.m. Authorities say a man went to the home of an 88-year-old woman, pretending he was selling newspaper subscriptions. Investigators say that man and three masked men forced their way in her home, tied her up with duct tape, ransacked her home and made off with $2,000 cash and a cell phone. Investigators say the woman did try to defend herself.

"She is elderly however she put up a heck of a fight. She managed to stab the guy a couple times with a knife that was in the kitchen, but they ultimately knocked her down," says Cpt. Paul Burch.

In addition to Mosley, deputies have one other suspect in custody. Titus Tyree Dickerson was arrested Wednesday. Investigators are looking for at least two others. We're told the suspects got away in a dark gray Honda Civic.

We asked Captain Paul Burch why they waited so long to notify the public about this crime. He says investigators didn't want to release any details to tip off the suspects, but now they need the public's help.
