A young mother is shot and killed, her body found outside her car alongside some railroad tracks in Prichard.

Now, the search is on for the person who shot her.

Family members on the scene Sunday night identified the victim as 23 year old Jabria "Bree" Hall,

Monday morning, flowers were left near the site where her body was found.

Louis Gano lives in the neighborhood and heard the shots.

He said, "I was just getting off work yesterday and I stay right there and I heard several gunshots and when I heard the several gunshots I ran in the house. I thought they were shooting at me."

Prichard Police say they they found the young woman shot outside her car about 10:30 Sunday night on railroad tracks near the intersections of Bullshead, Percy, and Garrison Avenues.

Hall had two young children.

Hall's aunt Sonja Williams said, "It's just a very unfortunate, devastating situation. She was only 24 years old, soon to be 24 in December. She's got a new baby. She's got a two-year-old son."

Hall's uncle, Bernard Hall said, "It's a real sad loss for our family.   Bree is one of the best children that we had. That's my great niece, so it's hard on us right now."

Police at the scene say they were investigating the murder as a possible domestic violence situation.

Prichard Police Sergeant Robert Martin said, "It appears that this stems from a previous domestic altercation between the victim and her child's father, or kid's father, and maybe another suspect.  But then again, this could possibly be altogether involving some random person doing stupid stuff of shooting."

Family members are still asking why, and cherishing their memories of Bree.

Williams described her as "very cheerful, very silly, loved her kids, actually loved her family. Just a family oriented type of person. It was all about her family."

If you have any information on who may have killed Jabria Hall, call Prichard Police.
