MONTGOMERY, Ala. (AP) -

Thousands of people went to Montgomery's Riverwalk Stadium and downtown Tuesday night to watch the fireworks after the Biscuits baseball game. But some left frustrated about the delay of the fireworks show.

The baseball game ended around 9 p.m. but the fireworks show did not start until close to 10 p.m.

The reason for the delay? Because there are CSX train tracks behind the stadium, the Biscuits must make sure there's no train nearby because the tracks are the fallout zone when the fireworks are fired.

Because there was a train sitting on the tracks before the fireworks started, a delay was required.

The Biscuits tell WSFA 12 News they know some fans were frustrated with the delay. They say CSX has worked with them on the shows, and they are working with the city to make sure delays don't happen to that extent again.
