Lights out at several intersections on Northern Boulevard

MONTGOMERY, AL (WSFA) -

Lights are out on Northern Boulevard from Coliseum Boulevard to Wares Ferry Road, according to the Montgomery Police Department.

Alabama Power officials say about 3,200 customers were without power in Central Alabama as of 6 p.m. Friday. This was down from about 6,200 customers at 5 p.m.

About half of the remaining outages were in Montgomery. The others are in Selma, Marion, Camden and Wetumpka.

Crews are working to restore service.
