MILLBROOK, AL (WSFA) -

Police in Millbrook and Montgomery are searching for three to four suspects they believe are responsible for stealing a car and using it in a series of vehicle break-ins earlier in July.

According to the Montgomery Police Department, a woman reported her black 2017 Volkswagen Jetta as stolen July 6 from her home on Cloverdale Road in Montgomery. On July 8, Millbrook police recovered the vehicle at the dead end of Highland Cove, which they believe was used to carry out nine reported car break-ins in the Millbrook area that same day.

Residents living on Fitzpatrick Place, McKeithen Place, Cresham Drive, Cantabury Lane, and Plantation Oak all reported that their locked and unlocked vehicles were broken into and had items stolen

Now, investigators are searching for the suspects that residents say stole things like electronics, sunglasses, money, and even firearms.

Those suspects were caught on video in Millbrook, but CrimeStoppers is asking for the public's help to identify them. Investigators are asking that if you know the suspects' identity or location to call police or CrimeStoppers at 215-STOP.
