OPELIKA, AL (WSFA) -

While most tournaments use 'quiet please' signs, the Barbasol Championship uses 'Hush y'all' signs. Over the last 3 years it's become a hit with spectators.

"I love them, it's very southern, it's very sweet and it is just much more polite," said Nancy French.

These signs are used by the volunteer Marshals to keep fans quiet while players approach their shot and focus on their game.

"They like perfect quiet and nobody moving. People don't realize how good professional golfers are. It's their life. It's work," said George Dyar, marshal co-chair. "We leave a lasting, really good impression on the people that come to share in this tournament because people here are very hospitable."

Fans wanting their own 'Hush Y'all' sign can purchase them at the Barbasol Championship merchandise tent.

We are once again waking up to a blanket of clouds across parts of Alabama - that's all thanks to a cold front currently hanging around the Tennessee/Alabama border early on this Wednesday morning. Our area is still ahe?ad of this boundary, so we will see another afternoon that features an enhanced chance for showers and storms to develop. While it won't rain on everyone, there is equal opportunity for almost all counties to get some activity by the end of the day. Wet weat...
