MONTGOMERY, AL (WSFA) -

The victim in a downtown Montgomery shooting no longer wishes to cooperate with police on their investigation, authorities say.

The man was transported to an area hospital after suffering non-life threatening injuries Wednesday.

According to Capt. Regina Duckett, it was initially believed the shooting happened near Hall Street and Madison Avenue, but further investigation showed it took place on Madison near Ann Street with the victim then driving himself to Hall. That's near the Cramton Bowl.

No arrests have been made at this time and the circumstances are under investigation, Duckett says.

Due to the victim's decision to no longer cooperate, further details about the investigation are unavailable.
