Burglars steal thousands worth of liquor, cigarettes in Dadeville

TALLAPOOSA CO., AL (WSFA) -

Tallapoosa County investigators are searching for three unknown men who stole thousands of dollars worth of liquor and cigarettes during a burglary Monday.

The suspects broke into the Walnut Hill Eagle Store in Dadeville around 2:45 a.m. on July 31 and stole around $4,100 worth of merchandise and approximately $100 in cash.

The first suspect was wearing a white plaid shirt and white jeans and is said to be 5'10 - 6' tall. The second suspect, dressed in all black, is believed to be 5'3 - 5'5 tall. The third suspect was wearing a blue long sleeve shirt and stands between 5'10 - 6' tall.

Investigators said the first suspect used a crow bar to break into the liquor store.
