Macon County Sheriff seeking assistance in search for missing woman with mental health issues

MACON COUNTY, AL (WSFA) -

Macon County Sheriff Andre Brunson is seeking assistance in finding a missing woman.

Tammy Cameron, 43, is 5-foot-3 and approximately 160 pounds.

According to Brunson, Cameron was last seen around 6 p.m. Friday at Victory Land wearing a black top with checkered-white shades. 

Her vehicle was found on Interstate 85 northbound between mile markers 38 and 39. 

Brunson says Cameron has mental health issues and she may be confused or in danger.

    A Brundidge man was killed Saturday evening when he was hit by a vehicle in Pike County.  According to the Alabama State Troopers, the crash happened on U.S. 231 near the 173 mile marker. The victim, 60-year-old Eddie Davis Copeland, was hit and killed by a 2001 Ford Crown Victoria driven by Fred Reynolds Hudley, 87, of Brundidge.
